PRETTY STRANGE

The debut Mannix CD "Pretty Strange" is an excitingly eclectic 15 song CD that joins very diverse rock, pop and strange folk into one beautifully cohesive album listening experience. This delightful roller coaster ride is highlighted by such songs as the all out brash barroom rocker of "How Far You Fell", the bittersweet "Time Travel", and the melancholy "Afterglow".

This album was recorded prior and during the formation of the four piece rock unit. Recording in three different studios, Mannix and long time partner Chris Peck were able to experiment with stripped down acoustic folk, full out rocking material and even orchestrated rock pieces. Mannix and Peck received the much needed help from such musical aces as ex-Oral Groover Bob Brochu, Kristin Pinell, the multi talented Rick Bunn and Ernie Mannix.
